Gemini SUPER Moon (12/4) 

On December 4th, we’ll experience a beautiful Full Moon at 13 degrees of the sign of Gemini, so fingers crossed that visibility is good! Full Moons are always a time for heightened activity (& feelings) and a Super Moon is no exception. 

Gemini Moons are an excellent time for socializing, so don’t be afraid to go out and about. Connection and curiosity are key elements of Gemini energy and I believe this lunation will carry a tone of “wanting to know”. Don’t be surprised if you are afflicted with “shiny object syndrome”…a lot will pique your interest, and there could be a lot to keep track of! 

Full Moons do illuminate things in our lives, but a Gemini Moon isn’t necessarily about probing the deep, dark corners of the mind and soul. Rather, Gemini energy is about collecting facts, figures, and stats. It’s about absorbing and communicating information, as well as being flexible enough to change your mind when the data necessitates it. Any “A-HA” moments you have at this Full Moon may not be because information was hidden from you, but rather because you just hadn’t learned it yet!

Interestingly, the Sun-Moon opposition makes a cross in the sky with the North and South Nodes of the Moon. If you have planets or a rising sign between 11 - 15 degrees of Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces, or Virgo, you may feel internal tension with this Super Moon. These folks may discover that the Universe is now offering them choices. These choices might seem similar now, but will have divergent long-term outcomes. It’s important to stay grounded and focused on the life you wish to create, not the one other people think you should have!

Go Where the Energy Flows (12/6 - 12/13)

Next week we have a see-saw of aspects. Mercury moves into the final degrees of Scorpio and that’s notable because it forms beneficial connections with Jupiter, then Saturn, then Neptune. This quick succession of energies can make us think more optimistically & hopefully… at the very least, it will keep us buoyant when dealing with challenges. We’ll be able to tap into more focus than we could during the Full Moon week, and we may also find a good balance between envisioning dreams for 2026 while responsibly wrapping up this year. 

During this same time-frame, Mars in Sagittarius is not playing nice with Saturn or Neptune, so the week is a balancing act. If you’re someone dealing with the Martian energy (looking at all the witches with late degrees of mutable signs in their charts!!), you could feel frustrated, hindered, or stalled. The actions you take now could prove ineffectual, possibly through no fault of your own. Due to the Mars-Neptune energy, the week could feel listless or tiresome, but remember that it’s a passing energy! Also, pay attention to your body and treat it well…Mars-Neptune energy is traditionally correlated with immune challenges.

As we have lots of different indicators this week, the take away is to lean into what feels like it is flowing right now. To the extent that you can step away from (or at least give less energy to) things that feel stuck, do that! 

Make it Happen (12/15 - 1/23)

Mars is moving into the sign of Capricorn - where it’s exalted - on the 15th. This is a time of ambition and discipline…of relentless pursuit of your goals. Mars really does the most when in Capricorn, and its fiery charge can be directed towards getting shit done. Mars in Capricorn energy isn’t flashy, but it gets results. Are you dreaming big dreams for 2026? These next 6 weeks are a perfect time to lay the groundwork. If you’re not feeling ready to start your next project, I still encourage you to take 1 or 2 concrete steps in your new direction. Once the Sun & Mercury join Mars in Capricorn in early January, it’ll be all systems go!
